Gas & Electrical Safety
It’s essential that all appliances in your rental property are safe. We always recommend using fully qualified and certified contractors to carry out both gas and electrical safety inspections. Battery-operated smoke alarms must be installed in the property, and once fitted, it’s the tenant’s responsibility to replace the batteries as needed.

Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
All privately rented properties must have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) before a new tenancy begins. We’ll ensure your tenants are provided with a copy at the start of the tenancy. You can read more about EPC requirements on the Government’s website.

Legionella Risk Assessment
To stay compliant, landlords must carry out a Legionella risk assessment at least every two years. This is a legal requirement, and we can help arrange the necessary checks to keep your property safe and fully compliant.
